    We've released our "beta" version of the Caledonia Upgrade Guide for GroupWise 2012 on Linux or Windows. This guide is for sites where GroupWise already resides on Windows or Linux, and is merely being "upgraded" on those servers. You can find more info about it here.     The benefits of BrainShare are obvious. Technical sessions taught by the engineers and developers of the products and the ability to have one on one discussions with the experts about issues that concern you. A side benefit is the connections you can make with people that have similar interests. If you're in education, goverment, manufacturing, etc. you can get together with others that run into the same types of issues you have.   4. Tips to install Linux Access Gateway (LAG) on VMware 4

    Some days ago I had to install new LAG SP3 IR2, running on SLES 11, in a VMWare VCenter 4 and I had some problems to get virtual NIC work.

    The problem was about new SLES 11 linux appliance doesn't recognized the VMXNET virtual NIC for any unknow reason. So, after research I figured out, reading some internet posts, the problem was the type of virtual NIC. After change from VMXNET to E1000 I could reinstall my both two appliances and get them finally work and done!

  5. Forum upgrade, new functionality

    Time marches on. Today I upgraded the forum software which, besides fixing some bugs, added a new WYSIWYG editor. There is no longer a basic and advanced editor....just an editor. It added new functionality like directly pasting Word documents, the ability to do tables, etc. It's really a great improvement to the old editor. I've learned though that most people don't pay attention unless they can't do what they are trying to do. People that visit the forums, for the most part, are trying ...
