Again, I have NO official tie to the Novell BrainShare Team other than
I'm a regluar participant there with the Novell Forums and volunteer
SysOps that go. That said, here's a few ideas I had and am throwing
them out there to you so perhaps we could get some good ideas of what
YOU want that I could take back to the BrainShare team. Consider this
as fodder for your brainstorming ideas:
-------------------------

**Sessions: Do webinars. In addition to the standard webinar, each
session has a forum tied to the webinar where the "attendee" can ask
questions and discuss the session with the speaker ongoing for the
entire week. An advantage of this is watching/discussing on their time
and real time capture for reference. Someone in New Zealand or South
Africa can participate just like anyone else.
-------------------------

**Meet the Experts: We already have forums for each product. We can
get the folks that would have been in the Meet the Experts
(developers, PMs, etc.) to be in their product forum talking to the
customers for that week.
-------------------------

**Vendor Night: On the pages created for the above, we can have advert
links to vendors.
-------------------------

**Virtual Cafeteria: Of course BrainShare is famous for the food. We
can have a virtual cafeteria (think Second Life) where there are of
course food choices to be made, but also games to play and
advertisements from sponsors. A virtual food fight would be fun.
-------------------------

**Conference Party: Distribute some free songs for download from a
popular band or two. Tie into the virtual cafeteria
-------------------------

**Other things can be worked into this like On Demand Training, a
special BrainShare edition of ATT live, broadcast live on the internet,
& various other things to make it a real value event.
-------------------------

**Somehow virtual skiing should be worked into this :)
-------------------------

Ok...again a disclaimer: I have no idea on what specific ideas are
being worked on by the BrainShare team but I'm sure they would like to
hear from you and I'll be happy to pass ideas along.
