Simple filter not working

Software needs outbound TCP traffic on 9500 allowed to reach the companies update servers. It's still not working after I made the following exception. Is there another exception I am missing?

Source Interface Type: Interface
Source Interface: private
Source Interface Type: Interface
Destination Interface: public

Src Ports: 1024-65535
Protocol: TCP
Dest Port: 9500
ACK Bit Filtering: Disabled
Stateful Filtering: Enabled

Src Addr Type: Host
Src IP Address:

Dest Addr Type: Any Address

DNS Packet Filtering Within BM3.9

Hi

I hope you can help - now i think i know the answer to this (No!), but i really need some functionality within ZCM10 working ok for patches. See :- here

But as we use BM3.9 which does not allow DNS filtering am i to understand its not possible to follow this particular Novell TID with the only Novell product that does this job!.

Or am i being dimm.

All ports blocked

Hi

A new Netware 6.5.8 server with BM 3.9, with all necessary filters exceptions.
If the filters are up all ports stay blocked no matter all the filters exceptios I have.
To test it, I make a few more filters with port 80 open and 1677 for GW for all interfaces and for all address and is not possible to access to Internet pages or GW from Internet.

enable HTTP traffic for 1 PC

We have the following BM setup:

- 2 NIC in the BM server (private, public IP).
- HTTP proxy configured on the BM server, and LAN machines can only go out through the proxy.

I have to enable 1 single machine to go out without the proxy. Which src/dst inerfaces and ports should I have to define in the filter exceptions? I guess I need 2 rules, one for outgoing, and one for the reply, right?
