I have a linx box that runs my GW Mobile server, I believe it has the most recent update on it. Sorry I can be more specific I am not in front of the servers right now. Anyway , I have just noticed as of just a day or 2 the CPU of the GW POA server (Netware 6.5) is maxing out both Processors. It says the GWSoap process has a High Yield on the processor error.

If I shut down the GW Mobile server everything runs fine again.

What could have happened? These 2 have been working together for at least 6 months or more without problems.

The only thing that has changed in the system is that I have a Windows 2003 server running the Blackberry Enterprise software on soap as well. I have shut down the 2003 server but it doesn't affect it.

Just wondering,

Client or User Manual for Intellisync?

Is there a user manual somewhere for even just the Intellisync interface?

I have the back end running quite smoothly but am getting hung up on some questions my users have as far as the interface goes on the phone itself.

Some of the example questions are:
Is there a way in contacts to have the contacts seperated by address book instead of being all mushed together?

Is there a way to have that book default to being the first one?

How do I clear appointments that have been cleared already on the PC?

Etc. etc. So something that goes over the user stuff. I am hoping that such a thing exists so in case I'm not here or busy the user has something they can fall back on.

Anything out there?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

We're using GW Mobile Server 2.04. Last night, the calender items suddenly stopped syncing with my Nokia E71. All the other stuff is syncing just fine. I tried the following:

1. Reset my phone: no change
2. Reset the GW Mobile server: no change
3. Put the logging on the server in Verbose mode: doesn't seem to be any errors there but here is the log snippet of the access log:
-----------------------------------------------
Synchronization started
Connection Info
Device name: E71-1
Duration: 00:18
Inbox Synchronization
Going to call setLastSyncData and RemoveEvents with 2 events
Sent Items Synchronization
Going to call setLastSyncData and RemoveEvents with 0 events
Synchronization
Going to call setLastSyncData and RemoveEvents with 1 events
-----------------------------------------------

I'm not sure if this is normal, but when I look at that log I first see "Inbox Synchronization" then "Sent Items Synchronization" and then " Synchronization". Shouldn't that last one be "Calender Synchronization" or something?

4. Recreated my username on the GW Mobile server: got all my Inbox items twice on the phone, but still no calender items

I'm the only one in our company with this problem. So far, no other E71 users have complained about this.

Could it be that there is some kind of corrupt appointment on my calender? And if so, is there a way to identify that appointment? As far as I understand the logging, the SOAP connection to the POA seems to be fine.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? All suggestions are more than welcome!

Arnold...
