Hi,

I'm planning on setting up a trust relation between AD and eDirectory (Kerberos).
I have an IIS server integrated in the AD domain. This domain has a cross-realm trust relation with my eDirectory. My eDirectory stores all the user objects that have access to the IIS.

Now my question is following. Do i need to replicate all the user objects to the AD enviroment. Or is it possible to tell AD to search for the user from a certain realm in the edir enviroment?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Questions:

Without buying a third party product, does eDir/NMAS have the ability to send an email to someone when a user account is intruder locked out? eDir/NMAS on OES2 SP1 Linux.

If not, is the free (at least it used to be) Novell Identity Audit able to do that?

If not, what about an eDir loopback driver (don't they call it Null driver?) for IDM? (we do own that)

Thanks!
