OES2 SP1 using miggui to transfer DHCP

The last two sites we've done, we've followed the steps about copying the DHCP leases file, renaming it, etc.

We HAVE made sure that dhcp server was stopped before we did the copy/rename.

In both cases, the dhcp server doesn't give out the same IP's to the same PC's and runs out of leases and the only fix we have is to blow away the lease file and let it start from scratch. In which case you basically defeat the purpose of even migrating dhcp practically.

I saw that Marcel and another user have the same experience that we do with this, so I'm wondering if anyone else is having this.

Hi,

if i use 'migfiles' to migrate files from an old server (NW65SP8, eDir
8.7.10b) the new one (OES2Lx) in the same tree no trustees are migrated!
But man pages says that 'migfiles' migrated trustees when it is a same-tree
migration.

Any hints whats wrong?
