Hi all,
I use SLED 11 32 bit with Gnome, can any one please provide me a download manager like "Free Download Manager (FDM) on windows" or other which is well with SLED.
I use firefox & there's a download manager but whenever i download a very large file then after few minutes the download manager dont show any progress i.e., the data transfer rate or time reamining goes to still, no change. Last day , when i download the SLE SDK then after 10 to 12 minutes the manager goes to still, if i pause & again resume then the download again start, but i think its not the proper way, so please help me to download large file with a well with SLED 11 on gnome.
I also tried SKDownloader but when copy the link from firefox download window & paste to SKDownloader , the Downloader show me an error message,
"Failed with - "401:null" Please check the url & try again"

Hello, I have paid for, and installed SLED 11. However, during the install, random packages could not be found on the DVD - different packages if I try reinstalling. I skip over these, and then if I reinstall using the update option, some of the packages seem to get installed, but not all of them.

I have checked, rechecked, the DVD md5 sum, burnt various copies at various speeds using two DVD burners (one brand new). I can't believe this is the problem - is there a problem with the iso file?

Does the problem I have described really matter? I am worried that some packages may be installed incorrectly.

Ok, first of all I have more OS. I have 2 HDD(I will name them like Linux OS: 1 - sda, 2 - sdb). First of all I have installed Windows 7 on sdB, then I installed Ubuntu(bootloader= grub) on sdB and created 2 swap areas on sdA, don't ask why :), then I installed Slackware(bootloader=LiLo) over Ubuntu, had problems with grub and did not found how to change from grub to lilo(find /boot/grub/stage1 command did not worked and I took another option of solving the problem), I installed Ubuntu over 1 swap area(sdA), I made grub to work, when I tried to launch Slackware when it came to login I don't know why but he didn't accepted my login acc, then I installed Suse(SLED 11) over Slackware(sdB), all was ok, I thought but NO. The Grub screen appeared I choosed SLED and then I got an error: http://i33.tinypic.com/16895zb.jpg , if I press Enter I get back to the Grub screen and I can choose other OS, any other OS works normal...
