reboot command fails to bring server up

Hi,

when i use shutdown -r now command it fails to reboot the server. physical access to server & startup is only way to bring up the server. here is the error in boot log can be found

any suggestions whats the cause of the server is not rebooting.

No Hardware found on x3650 with sles10

Hello,

I am trying to installl SLES10SP2 on a x3650M2 with a Serveraid M5014 adapter. When starting the install it stops at step 3 when probing the hardware. It cannot find any hardware.
In the Webbios of the Serveraid adapter I have configured a RAID 1 configuration with 2 disks and made sure it was initialized. Running a livecd from ubuntu CAN see the RAID1 disk and is able to do partition tasks on it.
Does anyone have a clue of tip?

Can't install SLES10

I am trying to install SLES 10 x86 from a DVD. The checksum for the down
loaded ISO is good. The DVD boots the system starts the installation, but
fails to find the software on the DVD.

No catalog found at cd:///?devices=/dev/hdc%2c/dev/sr0'

Where can I download SLES 11 x86_64 RPMs from?

Would someone know where the repository is for the Novell SLES RPMs? I am looking for somewhere that I can download the RPMs from. An offcial Novell site would be preferable; I cannot see one on the novell.com web site.

For some reason need to reinstall and reactivate product. To download updates need to activate the product again. This is done trough the customer center. But no "offical way" for need to open browser.

After the reactivation user can show they server installed onto the same hardware twice or more times and tell this subscriptions "over the limit".

So what is the officail way to reinstall or reactivate the SLEx product?

I am about to install a new ZCM10 environment on virtual servers. Can someone tell me what the current stable release of Suse Linux Enterprise Server? We are currently using SLES10 SP2 on most of our Linux servers, but I know that SLES10 SP3 is now available along with SLES11. What is the best backend OS version to use for installing 2 new ZCM Primary servers and 1 Sybase database server?
