I've found some references in older versions of GroupWise that this could be resolved by using RESETMAINTFLAG option, but this doesn't seem to work in GroupWise 8.

I have just gone through the process of Migrating my GW system, from NW to OES2, and then upgraded from version 7.x -> 8.x however now I am having some weird issues. The POA will load, but immediately unload when I load the GUI screen it gives the following error message

"TCP/IP port already in use (8555). Port Specified:1677 [OK] not sure what happened.

When I check in C1 things look correct, and I have gone into the GWHA.Conf and though there were a few additional items, which I have remarked out, nothing seems to really jump out at me.

What would cause the 8555 error?

Hello,

We are running GroupWise 8.0 and suddenly we started experiencing the following symptoms with one of our POAs.

User personal address book is gone.

Mailbox did not populate for a very lone time.

Trash bin is empty; but, next to "Trash" it indicates she has 63 items in the Trash.

Mailbox was empty when it finally populated, the user was unable to open the email he got an error D107.

Several of my cabinet folders are missing.

The temporary fix for it is to reload the POA; but, this fixes the problem only for -/+ 24 hours and the same problems return. I have searched the novell knowledge database with no help. Any ideas what’s going on?

Any hints in how to fix this issue will be great appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Guys,

I have a very annoying problem which is effecting all of my staff.

We have published our corporate calendar for staff to subscribe to using Groupwise 8.0.1.

The problem is that for some reason every now and then the link generated in webaccess that they originally subscribed to changes for some reason.

This means that everyone has to re-subscribe to the calendar using the new updated link.

Is ther anyway to stop this problem or to have static links to published calendars?

Ever since upgrading to 8.0.1 on the servers, we are getting an increasing number of calls from users who are hundreds or thousands of percent OVER their mailbox size.

In all cases, we find that there's one or more appointments that show up with a negative size.

I'm going to assume this is a bug since it's happening all over the place with more than one post office.

We have not rolled out the 8.0.1 client yet

Good Morning,

I have GroupWise 8.0.1 setup on SLES 10.2 / OES2 sp1.

I have a php process running which sends an email to a specified user. The email gets to the user with no problems.

In turn, I have a rule setup to "reply" if the email senders email address includes "@domain.org"

As I can see in the specified user email account, the email is replied to.

This is where the email disappears ... it is never received by the originator of the request.

If I try sending, or replying to an email manually, everything works fine.

What is happening to the email ? I have checked logs, and I see the email go through it's process, and that's all I've been able to find.

Thank you for any help,
