Does anyone know how to clear that location and keep the new location? Each time I log in after changing the location, it defaults right back to the original location. When I run the web access install it halts at the file copying portion. I never receive a response from the server, and I have waited 10 to 20 minutes several times. If I use taskmanager to kill the process I receive a remote procedure call failed. I have file caching set to off on the Novell client as some people recommended. I tried running the agent install and then the application, which installed the agent fine, but still hung on the application. I have commented out all of the autoexec info for starting tomcat and apache restarted the server and still had the same problem. I have tried manually downing those packages and letting the software do it, and neither works.

Please help.

We want to lockout earlier versions of C1 (system preferenece ... admin lockout setting ... current minimum snapins setting is 7.0.1).

Cannot change this value to 8.0.1 error is
' an error occured modyfing an attribute value
bad field number in record being added (0xc00b)'.

Any ideas why we cannot change this value?

Primary Dom and PA1 clustered on one resource, IP Address
1xx.xxx.yy.51, second POA on second resource 1xx.xxx.yy.58. Cluster
nodes 1xx.xxx.yy.51, 1xx.xxx.yy.52

Secondary Dom and GWIA outside cluster on node 1xx.xxx.yy.54

Ports:

D1 MTA MTP 7100, HTTP 7180
POA1 MPT 7101, HTTP 7141, CS 1677
POA2 MPT 7108, HTTP 7148, CS 1685

Users cannot exchange messages between POA1 and POA2, on POA1
Read-status doesn't refresh etc. Since the agent's webconsole shows up,
I don't think the IP address isn't bound to the node (ifup eth... shows
them). The problem remains, when second cluster node is shut down.

When sending messages on the effected POA1 the send folder does not go
away, messages don't make it to the 'Sent messages' folder, POA2 is
working o.k..

We sort of upgraded from 7.0.3 to 8.0.0 last Sunday. Users will return
in about 9 hours to work...

any hints appreciated!

Our GW infrastructure is about to have a major re-jig.

From 40 POs in 4 domains (GW 7.0.3 on Netware 6.5 servers) we're moving to
only 3 or 4 POs with a domain each (plus domains for gateways) on OES2.0
linux servers.

If I create the new domains and POs in the same GW system, is it possible to
upgrade the new components and then move the users over to the new POs in
order to upgrade them?

I'd imagine it would be a case of making one of the new domains the primary
and upgrading it. Then upgrade the remaining new domains and upgrading the
new POs. Create new GW8 WebAccess and GWIA gateways and associating them
with the new GW8 POs. Then all we have to do is move the users, resources,
distribution lists, etc over to the new POs for them to be upgraded?

The installation goes fine until the very end when I receive a "can't find bundle for base name newSystemInfo, en_US" error. The details of the message are...

I did allow the install program to install ConsoleOne 1.3.6h and the GroupWise 8 snapins. The results are that done of the databases are written. The copy of the GroupWise files to the SDD completes just fine. However, no objects are created in eDirectory and databases are installed.

Anybody else ever run into this?
