We've already changed the two images for the login page and it's looking pretty nice. I would like to add a disclaimer to the bottom of the window.
Ideally this would be directly under the login window.

I have attached a picture of what I was hoping to achieve. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

Hi, just a quick question. We are almost finished with our GroupWise 8 upgrade, but for some reason when we updated the Groupwise 8 Webaccess agent, it no longer works when we access it through the email icon (gadget?) in Virtual Office. Is it supposed to work via Virtual Office?

At the moment, we have the webaccess agent on a OES box and the webaccess application on a NW6.5 box running eguide, Netstorage, Virtual Office etc. We've had to drop it back to webaccess v7.0 for now.

Any comments? Please?????? :)

tnx

Hi.
Have a strange problem...
Scenario:
Upgraded GW703 to GW801.
Mostly functions works fine.

Some users use Outlook 2003 sp3 and IMAP againt GWIA to read mail.
When forwarding mail from gw8 webaccess to another account in gw8, and
reading it with Outlook, the message first appears with the forwarded
mail as an attachment (as it always have), but when clicking on it,
the attachment dissapears.
When looking at it in GW Win32-client, or the reciptiants WebAcc, the
attached mail is there, but not in Outlook. Checked it with an older
Outlook (2003 not sp3) and then it is there aswell.
This is of course an Outlook problem, Outllook somehow probably think
this is an insecure attachment, BUT... The problem just occures when
forwarding from GW8 WebAccess. If forwarding from a GW7 system, or
from Exchange or other system, or even from the same GW8-system, but
from the Win32-client, everything works fine.

What differs the way GW8 WA forwards messages compared to the other?
Any ideas?
/Stefan

Ever since upgrading to 8.0.1 on our servers, we cannot use webaccess to add proxy rights for external entitites.

Meaning:

user1 is an external entity setup as limited license
We login as that user into the webaccess just fine. Click Options -> Proxy Access. Use the Address book, find the user we wish to give access to, click OK.

Then when we select the boxes to click add/save/whatever, it changes the format from lastname, firstname to:
firstname lastname
and then says it cannot find the user

This is 100% reproducible on ALL accounts.

BUT only if the users do NOT have their sorting/name completion by firstname/lastname.

The default is lastname, firstname.

But I'm special and have mine set to firstname, lastname, so it works for me.

How to fix this?

since 10/21 we've had tomcat crash six times on an internet facing novell-groupwise-webaccess-8.0.0HP-87328 system running sles 10. apache is still up, and repeatedly records the following messages in its error_log:

[error] (104)Connection reset by peer: ajp_ilink_receive() can't receive header

customers' browsers start displaying a "Service unavailable!" page from apache: "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error 503 Apache/2.2.3 (Linux/SUSE)". a tech must start tomcat5 to bring webaccess back online.

only change has been user load; pre-production had been hovering around ~800 hits/day, and after the 10/20 go-live, we've seen ~5000 hits/day. max concurrency has been ~100.

tomcat5/apache2 installed on this one system in dmz, with its gw agent domain on separate system behind the firewall. used tid 3248145 to help with config. everything else in the environment (4 x mta, 1 x gwia, 6 x poa, 3 x webacc) is also running 8.0.0 HP2.

novell web team says its something in webaccess that is spiraling out of control eventually eating up all the memory causing tomcat to crash. how can i make it stop?
