Hello, I have seen this post in forums.novell.com:
I have set up OES2Linux eDirectory as passwd backend for Samba running on SLES10 and also for this SLES system.
    (passdb backend = ldapsam:ldaps://192.168.0.100:636)
When I need another user, I create him in eDir, add posixAccount extensions to the object. Then I add him for Samba with smbapasswd -a user.
This is fine so far, but I need to synchronize password with eDirectory in way: I change password in eDirectory -> password for Samba will change.
How do I achieve this? This works with SLES (these users use changed passwords, but Samba still uses original Samba password)

    Thank you.
    Jakub Talaš.

were you able to do it?
I have been tried it but I don't find the solution.
    could you help me?
    Thanks a lot!
