Default NCA Exam

So, I just wrote the NCA exam last week and failed but by a very small amount. ( I won't put exact numbers here). I can say that I'm not impressed with this exam. I've been working in a Novell enivironment for 7 years now and have been doing administrative tasks in nwadmin, consoleOne and now iManager. I'm very comfortable working in iManager since the vast majority of what I do takes place in iManager so I found it very surprising that very few questions actually involved iManager at all. I had questions about the Linux directory structure, Groupwise and ID Manager, all of which are rarely if ever touched by a entery level administrator. (In my case my orgainization does not use groupwise or ID manager at all and the Linux side of the administration is handled by another group)

So for anyone about to write this exam, be warned that this is not a test of your ability to actually do tasks related to administration but to memorize the study guides.
