I upgraded to Windows 7 - thumbs up

In place upgrade from Vista to 7 on two PCs. Each one took 3-4 hours,
but the result is like having a new PC, and the window management and
taskbar are a huge leap forward. Plus Windows XP in a virtual machine
included.

Can't speak for an XP upgrade - that requires the ever popular FDISK
first so probably easier to get a new PC.
