Default Re: Remote Shutdown (School Env)

I know this is a bit different but I am working on doing the same thing in a school enviroment. We are wanting to shutdown PC's at night if the user leave them on. Now I have written a batch file that will run a app called psshutdown and will force down the PC in 2 min, unless the user clicks cancel. My problem is this if a user logs off but leaves the PC on. We use DirXperts apps for The Message of the Day and this app locks the PC from being shutdown. We use this app for a Agree to the AUP screen prior to the login window. if this window is up it will not shutdown, (untill you try to login) then it will shutdown.

Has anyone had any success with a local scheduled shutdown that is also using dirxperts Message of the Day?

Thanks
