Hi,
I'm in a high school and there is a problem with policies enforcing the default homepage in Internet Explorer 7. The GP (in a student user package) for that sets the homepage in ie, is set to
http://ed.sa.edu.au, however some workstations randomly go to go.microsoft.com.... and then end up at ninemsn.com.au. I have checked the local workstations administrator account and that is also set to ed.sa.edu.au, as a fallback when the policy doesnt work...but this also doesnt stop it from going to go.microsoft.com.
I have copied the admin profile (which has ed.sa.edu.au as default homepage) to the default user profile numerous times but that doesnt change it. Thats what makes me think its a policy issue.
I have zenworks 7.
Any ideas? This problem seems to be getting more and more frequent.
I only have 10 months experience in novell so its all new to me :)
