CNI cut scores

I thought I heard somewhere ages ago that, even though you took the 6xx
tests (with the intention of getting CNE), if your scores were high enough
i.e. above the CNI cut score, then you wouldn't have to take the 8xx test if
you were trying for CNI, is that correct?

In my case, I've passed 3 6xx tests > CNI cut score so far. 2 more next
week!
