Hello, need some help
Hello there,
I work as an IT person for a school district. We are an NAI. We have 8
people, mostly students, taking Netware classes that I am teaching.
Last year I did my CNI instruction thing at Brainshare and got my
certification.
I want to play on both sides of the fence.
I want to keep teaching here at the school as it is a lot of fun. I also
want to teach at other locations. The problem I am finding is that there
isn't a whole lotta need for CNI things, and the ones that are out there are
paying peanuts.
I feel very much like I am fighting a losing battle. It is difficult to
work with Novell on things, it is difficult to reason with the school board
and those in charge to say that Novell is still vital and we should keep
investing money in the program, plus I have put in about $2k of my own funds
to keep it going.
M$ on the other hand has just given us a whole lotta reasons to teach M$
products.
Why does it seem that it is getting harder and harder to work and keep
Novell products? What does it seem more and more difficult to work with
Novell? Why is it that being a Novell geek means that we are going to have
to almost beg and plead to work with Novell?
