importing jsr168 portlet war (exteNd 5.2.1)

Hi,
I wanted to import 3rd party JSR168 portlet application packaged as WAR.
My portal application is an EAR and is configured as full shared libs.
I imported 3rd party WAR by selecting New Project -> Portlet
Application, which added the WAR to my EAR. However after deploying EAR
and logging to the DAC to registrate new portlets, I can see only extend
portal application under Portlet Application. I assume I should see also
3rd party portlets as another application? What did I do wrong?
