Sorry for the necro-bump, but I've run into this exact same problem
(receiving the com.sssw.fw.exception.EboFactoryException: Warning, device
not found when creating context.
com.sssw.fw.exception.EboFactoryException: Service with ID
'ExpressPortal.com.sssw.portal.api.EbiDeviceManage r' was not found loaded in
the factory.
error message when trying to view the express portal).
I've used the project upgrade option in Directory on my 5.2 project already.
I am trying to deply my 5.2 project (that ran on a Netware 6.5 server using
SilverServer as the app server), to a 5.2.1 project running on a Windows
2003 server using the Extend App Server.
Is there something that needs to be changed related to going from Netware to
Windows? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Josh
