Just to clarify (I have GW running on a SLES):

you have to:

- be logged in to the eDirectory tree as admin (or equivalent). Be sure
you are logged in to the tree Groupwise is running in.
- supply a path to the Groupwise Domain directory (of the primary
Domain, if you have more than one). This directory has a file named
WPDomain.dc in it.
- you have to have full read and write rights to the GW-Domain
directory (no matter where they come from).
