Retrieve password in clear text

Hi,

I know this isn't an LDAP question, but there isn't an eDirectory support forum.

One of my customers custom built solution for identity management. They do not use and (i believe) have no license for Novell Identity Manager. As of now though, when users change their password through Novell Client, this doesn't get propagated to the rest of the network.

I'd like to be able to get a notification when a password changes in eDirectory. On Windows this is easy, using a password filter and the customer already has one written in C++. The customer asked if it were possible to build the same for their eDirectory servers.

I've searched all over but cannot find a solution. Is there any way to retrieve a users password when it is changed?
