Create a double filter in PHP

I want to create a double filter in PHP

I read documentations (Novell Documentation ) but explanations are to create a complicated filter in Java.

Could you help me?

Has anyone found a solution yet?
I stumbled over the same issue (I want to extract today's appointments from my calender via SOAP).
