We recently discovered that we cannot do a multicast imaging session to a satellite server (ZCM 11.2.2 MU2) if the satellite and the target workstations are on separate vlans. We can do individual imaging sessions across the vlans, just not multicast.

I saw a post similar to this in the ZCM 10 forum from 2007, but they did not post a resolution.

Any ideas of how to make this work?

We are using a Cisco routing switch to route between the two vlans. I am working with a Cisco support person who is trying to figure out if there is a solution on the switch side of things, but he is asking what the TTL of the multicast is. I can't find any info on this. Does anybody know what it is?
