Default Access Manager in a SMALL environment

I need a solution for a small company (10 workstations) who have an occasional need for remote access via vpn for a couple of applications.

Today the need would be for maybe 3-4 concurrent users max.

The documentation, as I read it, would indicate that a minimum configuration would be a server with 100GB hard disk space, 6GB RAM and 2Ghz processor. I can't find anything in the docs indicating assumptions about performance like response time, user capacity, or administrative overhead.

I need to determine what to recommend ... AM or an outsourced solution.

I'd prefer AM to leverage eDirectory, simplify administration and maintain flexibility.

Can anyone provide guidance or direct me to someplace that provides additional information?

Thanks,
Bruce
