Default Confusion over EventIDs

We are running NSure Audit 1.0.1 presently and are having good results
with it at this point. However, I have encountered an unexplained
discrepancy with the EventIDs as described in the NSure audit
documentation and the actual eventIDs as they are logged in our MySQL
database.

The edirectory events as described at
http://www.novell.com/documentation/...ory_events.htm
each have a unique idenfiying EventID that is supposed to be a 2 word hex
number as described at:
http://www.novell.com/documentation/...it/index.html?
page=/documentation/nsureaudit/nsureaudit/data/alg2t8z.html

The actual eventids that are being logged with each event are 6 digit
integers like 720897 (Create Object) or 721728 (Add Group Member). My
thought was, that I could query my database for a particular EventID, to
see all of the Add Group Member events that have occured during a certain
period. However, I have not found the list of 6 digit EventIDs to
perform such queries. I was thinking instead that I could cross
reference the eDirectory eventID table (the first url that I referenced
above), take the corresponding 2 word hex number from the chart and use
that in my query. However, that of course does not work because all
eventIDs are the mysterious 6 digit integers.

Is there a conversion to the EventIDs that I am missing here? Is there a
list of eDirectory (and other application events) that I have just not
found? Are others getting this same result?

Thanks in advance for your help.
