No, the documentation covers the six applications that NIA supports and
they include:

eDirectory
NMAS
SecureLogin
SecretStore
Identity Manager
Novell Access Manager

The events are the default events from those systems and not custom
events. Novell Log Manager is probably more in line with what youa re
after as it supports more event sources (everything Novell Sentinel does)
and can be customized.
