By any chance is there an alias for that user ID?

Anything special about the ID, compared to other user IDs?

It is definitely user-related, correct? Same PC where that ID fails,
other ID's work?

CLNTRUST responds to proxy authentication requests. When I see
multiple failures, it can be for many reasons, but it usually means
that BMgr does not see the requests coming back to the server, or it
could also mean the user isn't logged in.
