I think either version is fine, and both have about the same amount of
issues. Really though, I find iMan 2.7.2 to be somewhat better than all
previous versions, and I would not be scared to use it over 2.6. There
was an issue when 2.7 first came out and there were no BM plugins for it,
but those days are long past.

I don't think it really matters if you do BM before GW or vice-versa.
Just be sure to leave enough room for cache volumes (15gb each), and I'd
not make SYS smaller than 10gb these days.

Yes, though if you do it differently, you can always fix it afterwards if
something is broken.
