Default Re: Repair operation aborted since NDS Server is down

Exactly which eDir build is on your servers?

eDirectory for Linux v8.8 SP5

What errors or "quirky issues" are you seeing?

The error i posted about. That seems to have resolved itself, but now I'm occasionally getting the following error when running ndsrepair -R

ERROR: Could not track parent of subordinate count. Error: -150

ERROR: updating object 8023 Error: -150
Tree structure check aborted.

Again, restarting ndsd resolves the error

"-R" is "repair local database". You should not be doing that unless you
see an error indicating that the database is corrupt. What is leading you
to the conclusion that the database needs to be repaired?

Regardless of the reason why I'm running ndsrepair -R, it should not be giving me these errors

Can you get in to iMonitor when this is happening? Better yet, can you
get in to iMonitor before it happens, and use it to diagnose what's
happening when whatever it is happens?

What should I look for in iMonitor?
