If you are wanting to do any kind of proper auditing you should be using
the Novell Audit-based technology that then sends data to Novell Log
Manager or Novel Sentinel RD. Doing what you are proposing will probably
cause you more headaches than it is worth and is not completely reliable
while the Audit technology available is meant to scale and not miss events
even during startup and shutdown.
