ldappasswd (eDir 8.6.2 SP4 - SuSE Linux)

Hi NG,

I try to set a new password for a user with ldappasswd and always recieve
the following error:

ldap_initialize( <DEFAULT> )
Result: Protocol error (2)
Additional info: Unrecognized Extended Operation

command line is:

ldappasswd -x -v -D "cn=admin,o=travel_dt,c=de" -W -S -A <cn-user>


could someone tell me pls how to do this ?!?
