Password Expiration Date Not Changing!

I could really, really use some help here. I've been fighting this problem for months...and I have not gotten any solutions from support requests I've submitted.
Anyway, when passwords expire, our users change the password. The expiration date AFTER they change the password stays at the current date. It does not push out 30 days, or 120 days, or whatever the policy stats. As a result, every time they log in, they are prompted to change their password.
We run eDirectory 8.8 sp2 on NW65 SP7. We have IDM 351, w/ the latest engine update. We use the AD driver w/ the remote loader on our AD Box. We do use IDM Password Policies to enforce strong passwords, but this password behavior happens with the presence of a policy AND without a presence of a policy.
I've tested just about evey scenario imaginable. Maybe someone else might have some tips?
