What information do I need in order to recover the master server in a replica ring? It holds the master replica of each partition and is the certificate authority for the tree. If it had an unrecoverable hardware failure, what information would I need to get it back up and running?

advises using eMTool, but that crashed the server (8.8.1 + ftf), and when I reported the problem to Novell, I was advised to switch to dsbk. Given that, what other files should I be backing up?
We're in the process of upgrading to 8.8.5. If eMTool starts working after that, is that the way to go? I thought I read of a vulnerability there.
