Default eDirectory redundancy

Hi,

I have an edirectory server running in production. I want to add redundancy to my environment. This is my only edirectory server, so when I installed edirectory I created a new tree. How would I best setup redundancy? What are my options? I don't understand what the difference is between installing another server into the tree, or creating a replica?

What I'd like is to create another server that can instantly take over if the main server goes down, has all the current data, etc.

Thanks,

Jeff
