Stuck installing SLP under edirectory on windows 2008

Hi

I am creating a new edirectory tree running purely under windows 2008 and I have installed edirectory 8.8.5 and had a go at configuring OpenSLP on the server, i have done the following

• copied slp.conf and slp.reg to C:\windows
• edited slp.conf to enable the lines "net.slp.isDA = true" & "net.slp.useScopes=scopename"
• I also enabled the logging options in the slp.conf file

when i restart the slpd service on the server it only logs the following to the slpd.log file in the c:\windows folder

if i run the command "slptool findsrvs service:bindery.novell" from "c:\novell\nds" i just get "errorcode:-23" returned

Any help here would be appreciated
