Default Re: Supported LDAP controls for eDirectory

Yes, unfortunately the calls don't seem to be working on large data sets. The queries work on small numbers of objects in test OUs, but not on real-world data, the server just returns some objects then crashes out with an error 53.

When we try to get support from anyone the answer is always "SSS and VLV are not supported. Tough luck."

This is a project to connect Oracle IDM to Novell IDM, so if they can't get eDirectory to play ball I imagine they'll just rip it out and go 100% Oracle :-(

While not officially supported they do, to a large extent, work.

LDAP Virtual List View (VLV) Control | Novell User Communities
LDAP Server Side Sort (SSS) Control | Novell User Communities

Good luck.
