Single Sign on with EDir

Hi,
We are developing an IT Helpdesk Application and have implemented Single Sign On for Windows environment, against Active Directory using IIS Integrated Windows authentication.

We would like to do the same against eDirectory too.
Can we use the NWDir Control provided by Novell to achieve this?
Is there any other easy alternative to accomplish this easily?
Are there any licensing requirements for development and distribution?
