Ok I feel like I am talking to myself here but I found the answer and if it can save somebody the headache : Here is what I did, In the tomcat path
sys:\tomcat\4\webapps\eguie\Web-INF\properties directory there is a file name eguide.properties. In there towards the bottom is an item labeled
AuthenticationServer=
If you change this to the login server this will work. Note it is looking for the name of the Ldap source not the IP or the server name. For example my old source was SourceOLD and I had created a new source named NEwSource. That was what I changed the authentication server to SOURceOLD. I found this out the hard way. ANyways I hope noone comes across this problem but if you do try this and hope it helps. Thats what we are here for to help each other right.)
