eGuide Single-Value Phone Number multi format

Hi,

Using eGuide and want to have a Single-Value US Phone Number that can be one of two formats either

<format>'(',3,') ',3,'-',4</format> or <format>'(',3,') ',3,'-',3</format>

Is this possible and if so how do I do it. I guess its just a cause of using an or statement in the UIHandlers.xml.
