Default Password Policy not associating

Hi,

Midway through last year we had some MAC's arrive. To facilitate eDir logins I modified the "Sample Password Policy" and associated this to the user OU.

To have the eDIr, UP and Simple password sync the user went to a Windows PC, CTRL+ALT+DEL and changed their password. This casued the sync of the 3 passwords.

On th client PC when pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and then clicking the password policy button you could see the password policy applied to the user. All worked fine.

I had a problem earlier in the week where a new user went to change her password and received the error message that the old password was incorrect. I then tried the same process and received the same message. I went into Console One and reset the password back to the default and tried again, same problem. I then clicked on the Password Policy button and no policy was attributed to the new user.

I've also created a few new student users and the same issue is present.

I've checked the policy assignment and it hasn't changed.

Any idea's?? I have more MAC's coming at the end of the year, so I would appreciate any help in tracking this down.
