Internal Links not working in HTML email

I can successfully embed an html file into a Groupwise e-mail using the F11 key.

However, if my html file has internal links (ie, links to anchors within the html file itself), Groupwise tries to "force" these internal links to go to either a blank web page or a temporary page that it opens in a browser window. I would like the internal links to actually send the user down to that section of the html newsletter in the actual email window.

Any suggestions on how to make this work?
