changing email domain name

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, here goes any way.

We have been using a domain name of @dca.state.sc.us for the last eight years. Now there is a push to have this changed to @scconsumer.gov.

Can you point me to a TID or give other instructions on how to go about this?

I'm going to search knowledge base for info also.
