Groupwise Message ID not being sent with SMTP 250

Hi people,

Bit of a Groupwise novice so I apologise if this is common knowledge or a stupid question.

I need to know about Groupwise mail servers sending out SMTP 250 acknowledgements. As far as I can tell, a GW mail server doesn't include the e-mail's message-ID with the SMTP 250 it sends back to the sending mail server. This is something which Exchange and others do.

Is there an option in Groupwise to allow this, and if so where would I find it? Does Groupwise not do this for security/privacy reasons?
