Lost Internet mail after user move
After moving a user account, 3 of my MTA's still saw her in her old post
office. As a result the user was unable to receive outside (Internet)
mail.
Last night, I rebuilt my Primary and 2 of my Secondary MTA databases, and
my user can now receive outside mail.
Any idea where previously sent outside mail ended up? I suspect it's
just "lost", but would love to recover it if possible.
Here's my setup:
I have a primary and 3 secondary MTAs in my GroupWise 6.5 environment.
Prime
MTA2 - GWIA
MTA3 - The User's Destination Post Office
MTA4 - The User's Source Post Office
After the move, Prime, MTA2 and MTA4 still saw her on old post office on
MTA4. Incoming Internet mail, processed by MTA2 must have gone over to
MTA4, but from there who knows.
