Default Upgrading from 6.02 to 8

Hello. I've inherited a GW6 system running on Netware 6.

My employer wants to go to Groupwise 8 on Linux, and I'm plain having trouble figuring out what the migration path should be. It doesn't seem there are any utilities to import GW6 message databases to GW8 (didn't really expect there to be, either).

From what I've read, I'll need to upgrade to 6.5 first. Then use the migration utility to move it to 6.5 on Linux. Then upgrade to GW8 from there?

Also, I have an old Netware 4 server on the network still serving up an old Btrieve-based app, and a Netware 6 file server. Maybe this is a different topic for another post, but if anyone has any idea how to get all three to mingle or even separate them successfully, let me know. If not, ignore this paragraph.

Much thanks.

Agustin
