Default How External Entities work

Hi,

I've just set up a ticketing system (OTRS::Open Source Trouble Ticket System - Service Support System::Welcome!) which can read email from an IMAP or POP e-mail account.

I've set up IMAP on my POA and I've tested it with my own account, it works.

So, for use with the ticketing system I decided to create an external entity as there is no need for an eDirectory user.
I created the external entity but I'm not sure what External Network ID I should use. I've used both the user@hostname from the ticketing system and the Mailbox ID.
To test that the external entity account works I've tried to access the account using the groupwise client. It always fails saying the password is wrong.

Does anybody have any idea what is happening here? What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it?

Thanks for any help,
Rory
