Default Searching Message Stores

I am posting a general question that I am pretty sure doesn't belong
here, but am hoping that someone can either point me in the right
direction or tell me that I "can't get there from here"... We have a
GW 6.5x installation and need to know if it is possible, using native
GW and/or eDirectory tools, to search for character strings in a GW
message store (i.e., all current user mailboxes in a domain or post
office). I have been directed to find all references to a specific
person's name in any subject lines of messages in any mailbox or
folder (Sent Items, cabinets, Trash, etc.) and in the body of any
messages contained therein. If found, I need to retrieve the message.
Other than open each & every user's mailbox & read all their mail, I
can see no way to do this with the documentation I have. I do keep
GWIA logs & can see mail coming into & out of the gateway, but cannot,
of course, search an external mailbox or message contents unless it's
inbound mail & I find it in the recipient's mailbox. We have
approximately 500 users.

Is there hope? If not Novell, then with third-party utilities? Or am I
going to be spending lots of quality time reading one message at a
time? Thanks.
