Will GW monitor let me know if my webmail is down?

We had an issue this morning where our Webaccess was unavailable due to a
problem with Java locking up on the Netware (6.5/sp5) server where the gw
servelet is installed so our users were getting a Error 503 on the
browser.

If I install GroupWise monitor will I be notified as soon as something
like this happens?
