Re-occuring, different day appointments

Hi all, I'm trying to determine whether I can post multiple appointments
for activities that do not occur on the same day. For example, at my
university, we have an entire list of activities on the Academic calendar,
but they do not happen on a single day of the week or month. I want to
know whether there is an import feature that would take information from
an Excel file (for example), and convert the list into separate
appointments for Groupwise.

Your help would be greatly appreciated as I know MANY folks on campus
would rather have all their appointments posted in one action rather than
creating 50 separate appointments for all the activities.
